Pink Valentine’s Collagen Rice Krispie Hearts

A nostalgic treat with a collagen glow-up. Soft, gooey, and lightly strawberry-sweet - perfect for sharing (or not).

 

Makes: 8–10 heart treats

Prep time: 10 mins | Set time: 30 mins

 

Ingredients

3 tbsp butter (or coconut oil for dairy-free)

200g marshmallows (plus a few extra for texture, optional)

1–2 tsp strawberry powder or natural pink food colouring

1 scoop Dose & Co Unflavoured Collagen Peptides

4 cups Rice Krispies (or puffed rice)

Valentine sprinkles or freeze-dried strawberry pieces, to finish


Method

1. Melt & mix
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth and glossy.

2. Add the glow
Remove from heat. Stir in the strawberry powder/colouring, then quickly mix in the collagen (key: off the heat so it stays smooth).

3. Fold & fluff
Add Rice Krispies and gently fold until evenly coated. Stir through extra marshmallow pieces if using.

4. Shape the love
Press mixture into a lined tray or directly into heart-shaped cookie cutters. Lightly grease hands or cutters to avoid sticking.

5. Decorate & set
Sprinkle with Valentine toppings. Let set for 30 minutes, then gently pop out.
